Hitched or Ditched CW's Reality TV-- Tune in for June 16th's episode-- 9PM
It's not just wedding season here-it's taking over TV as well! A must see CW's new "Hitched or Ditched" hosted by Tanya McQueen ("Extreme Makeover: Home Edition"), executive producers Mike Fleiss ("The Bachelor"), Chris Coelen ("Secret Millionaire"), Greg Goldman ("Secret Millionaire," "Wife Swap"), Mike Duffy ("Addicted to Beauty") and Jason Ehrlich ("The Bachelor"). On this new reality TV show, friends nominate couples who have been together for so long that they need to make a definite decision; tie the knot already or break up...move on. Talk about pressure...
The show offers the couple the chance of a free wedding, a made-for-TV wedding, one like they’ve always dreamed of, no more excuses not to get married --- in one week! - :::Feeling any pressure yet?::: and they must announce whether they really want to get married once they get to the altar and the clergyman asks, "Do you take this man as your husband?" "Do you take this woman as your wife?"...................... oy
Last night I watched the first episode, "Bastards Out Of Carolina" Celisa and Travis battled with the resistance of both of their families and it finalized with CeLisa saying "I Do" and then being dumped by Travis.
This show really works like shock therapy on a relationship: Focus now or forever hold your peace. huh?
It's always amazing to see how cruel some people are willing to be with a camera pointed at them. But you'll be fascinated by the shifting feelings these couples go through before making up their minds at the moment of truth.
With all that said, mark your calendars to watch some not so drama-free episode on June 16th. I guarantee it's worth the watch!
I had the pleasure of asssisting Whose Wedding Is It Anyway (WWIIA) and celebrity planner, Samantha Goldberg on the taping of Hitched or Ditched, New Jersey's couple-- Courtney and Anthony at The Liberty House in Liberty State Park, Jersey City, NJ. Along with Sam, I got to work with some great professionals...

5.10.09 Congratulations Eva & James!
I had the pleasure of coordinating the wedding of Eva and James on a very special day; Mother's Day.
Despite the rain that threatened to be never ending for weeks, Eva and James' day turned out beautifully with the presence of Mr. Sun and its burnished gold gleam. The beautiful outdoor ceremony and exchange of vows took place at The Tides Estate in North Haledon, NJ and was officiated by Rev. Paul Mayer.
What a great wedding!
Behind a great wedding there are some amazing people to credit. Eva is the cousin of a great friend and videographer (who of course provided video services), Mary at Touch of Class Video. Mary and Eva's aunt, Mina were both her planners for the most part and needless to say, they did an amazing job and so I was honored when Mary asked me to be her cousin's Day of Coordinator. Knowing how much time, effort and thought to every detail she put in to this day for Eva and James...I was beyond thrilled.
The Bride and Bridesmaid's hair and make up looked fanta-bulous, thanks to Michelle LoConte at Pink Comb Salon.
Mary planned on an upbeat and fun cocktail hour for Eva and James... Howie Bongo was the perfect addition with a steel drum show. Reception entertainment was provided by Mary's husband, Mario at Touch of Class DJ's who knows how to rock a party. For Eva's and James' memories to last a lifetime, Mary was also photographer for a day along with Sharon Curia.
With so many things for guests to enjoy, no one was ever seating. Steel drums, Bongos, Photobooth, Candy Bar, Espresso Bar...oh yes, In addition to a dessert hour, at the end of the night guest drove away with a sweet treat. The big and Lil' guests came by our Candy Buffet and grabbed delicious, sugary treats to take home! The night ended with a little sugar buzz. I'll be sure to post some pictures soon.
It was a very busy day and even so Robyn and I had a great time and we were thrilled to work once again with some amazing vendors.
I leave you with this slide show of absolutely amazing pictures by Sharon Curia.
